Communications – Deliver ACKdeer’s message to our community by helping launch our newsletter, web site, social media and PR campaigns.

Gut Bags – Coordinate creation, distribution and collection of bags for hunters’ use to reduce the number of gut piles left around the island.

Stop Deer Feeding – Educate our community on the peril’s of feeding deer to both the deer and to our island’s residents and ecology.

Permission Slips – Expand huntable areas by allowing hunters to use more closed properties and reducing setbacks on open and closed properties.

Hunter Advisory Group – Coordinate and develop guidelines for ACK best hunting practices and encourage more hunters to take more deer for the Hunters Share the Harvest program that feeds Nantucket’s food insecure.

Processing – Work with our partner Nantucket Land Bank to process deer into ground venison on-island.

Distribution – Work with our partner Nourish Nantucket to distribute ground venison and meals through its island partners.
